Some of the artists may have had hit under other names, and I have put details in the notes in italics after the list, also if a track was reissued these details are also in italics after the list. Tracks listed in red went straight in at Number 1.

Lauren Bennett, Nayer, Kimbra, Wanz & Magic! are one hit wonders in both the UK & the US.  

Nut Rocker hit Number 19 upon reissue in 1972, with a chart run of 11 weeks.

Je t'Aime Moi...Non Plus has been a hit on two other occasions, in 1969 a version on a different label charted for 11 weeks peaking at Number 2, while the reissue in 1974 hit number 31, with a chart run of 9 weeks.

Eye Level first charted for 2 weeks in 1972 peaking at 41 before reaching Number 1 on its second run a year later.

Gary Numan, the brains behind Tubeway Army, had hits under his own name as well.

Do They Know It's Christmas? was also a hit in 1985 for 7 weeks, peaking at Number 3, 2007 for 4 weeks peaking at 24, 2008 for 4 weeks, peaking at 54, 2009 for 4 weeks, peaking at 50, 2010 for 4 weeks peaking at 54, 2011 for 4 weeks peaking at 34, 2012 for 3 weeks peaking at 37, 2013 for 3 weeks peaking at 57 and 2014 for 5 weeks peaking at 56 - total chart weeks 51.
It was also re-recorded in 1989 as Band Aid II, in 2004 as Band Aid 20, and in 2014 as Band Aid 30.

Band Aid, USA For Africa, The Crowd, Ferry Aid, Band Aid II, Band Aid 20, Helping Haiti, Shout For England, The Justice Collective, (Gareth Malone's) All Star Choir and Band Aid 30 all contain artists who have hits in their own right.

Steve "Silk" Hurley had further hits under the name J M Silk.

She's Leaving Home by Billy Bragg with Cara Tivey was a Double A side, the other side being With A Little Help From My Friends by Wet Wet Wet.

TheTimelords had other hits, including a Number 1 as the KLF.

Englandneworder was New Order featuring the England Football Team, both have had hits in their own right.  World In Motion charted again on reissue in 2002 fo2 weeks peaking at 43, in 2010 for 4 week peaking at 22 and in 2014 for 1 week peaking at 43.

The voice of Chef was provided by Isaac Hayes, who had hits in his own name.

Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) charted for 1 week upon reissue in 2007, peaking at Number 72. 

The Ketchup Song first charted as an import version in September 2002, spending 4 weeks on the chart, peaking at Number 49. 

Bring Me To Life first charted as an import in May 2003 for 2 weeks peaking at Number 60.  Has also been reissued but without crediting Paul McCoy.

Mad World charted again in January 2007 for 2 weeks peaking at Number 58, and on reissue in October 2010, it charted for another 2 weeks peaking at 26.

FURB (F U Right Back) first charted as an import version in May 2004, spending 3 weeks on the chart, peaking at Number 43.

Brian Potter is a Peter Kay character, and Peter Kay has had hits in his own right, Andy Pipkin is a Matt Lucas character.

With Every Heartbeart re-entered the chart on in January 2008 for 8 weeks peaking at Number 39.

Now You're Gone re-entered the chart in June 2008 for 9 weeks, peaking at 

Number 38.

Dance Wiv Me re-entered the chart in January 2009 for 8 weeks peaking at Number 31, April 2009 for 7 weeks peaking at Number 42 and August 2009 for 2 weeks peaking at Number 68.

Vanessa Jenkins & Bryn West are two characters from the TV show "Gavin & Stacey" played by Ruth Jones & Rob Brydon.

Amelle has had other hits as a member of the Sugababes.

Peter Kay's Animated All Star Band was a collection of TV cartoon characters put together for Children In Need. Peter Kay has had other hits, and some of the characters, such as Bob The Builder have also had hits.

Written In The Stars re-entered the chart in February 2012 for 2 weeks peaking at Number 71.

Party Rock Anthem re-entered the chart in December 2011 for 22 weeks peaking at Number 24 and in May 2012 for 3 weeks peaking at Number 52.

Give Me Everything re-entered the chart in January 2012 for 3 weeks peaking at Number 32. 

Sian Evans has had other hits as lead singer of the band Kosheen.

Somebody That I Used To Know re-entered the chart in December 2012 for 6 weeks peaking at Number 45 and February 2013 for 2 weeks peaking at Number 57.

We Are Young re-entered the chart in January 2013 for 3 weeks peaking at Number 48 and in February for 2 weeks peaking at Number 69.

Bom Bom re-entered the chart in January 2013 for 3 weeks peaking at Number 33 and again in June 2013 for 3 weeks peaking at Number 55.

Look Right Through re-entered the chart in March 2014 for 3 weeks peaking at Number 72.
