Well, the first week of the new chart rules coming into effect has had no effect at the top of the charts as "Despacito" clocks up an eighth non-consecutive week at the top of the charts.
Here are Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber.
Static at Number 2 as well is DJ Khaled featuring Rihanna & Bryson Tiller with "Wild Thoughts", while continuing its slow climb up the charts, this week from 4 to 3, is French & Swae with "Unforgettable".
Up one place t0 4 is Jonas Blue & William Singe with "Mama", while back up one place to 5 is Liam & Quavo with "Strip That Down".
Up 15 places to 6 this week, no doubt boosted by the Number 2 placing of his new album, Funk Wav Bounces - Vol 1, is Calvin Harris with the 23rd UK Top 10 hit of his career.
Featuring the mega vocal talents of Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry & Big Sean, this is "Feels".
It also puts Katy Perry into the Top 20 artists of all time, based on weeks spent on the UK chart, taking David Bowie's place. Calvin himself, meanwhile, is battling for 10th place on the same list with Drake.
Up 3 places to 7 this week is Rita Ora, as "Your Song" gives the singer her biggest hit in exactly two years, since "Poison" hit Number 3 in July 2015, while up another place to 8 is Little Mix with "Power".
Finally hitting the Top 10 this week, moving up three places, after 9 weeks on the chart is the excellent "Pretty Girl" by Maggie Lindemann. It will be interesting to see what happens next week when she hits the 10 week mark, as if she starts to lose sales her stream ration could be cut from 150:1 to 300:1 as per the new rules.
Anyway, for the time being, well done to Maggie for her first UK Top 10 hit. This is "Pretty Girl".
We finish the Top 10 this week with "2U" by Guetta & Bieber which drops 2 places from last week's 8.
There are an impressive 24 climbers inside the Top 40 this week, which seems to suggest that the new rules are having the desired effect.
One of these is up 7 places to 12 this week, and its congratulations to Sigala who reaches 100 weeks on the UK Singles chart in total this week, josing the select band of artists to have achieved this figure.
Featuring the voice of Ella Eyre, this is "Came Here For Love".
Another climber moves up 8 places to 14 this week. It also gives Drake a total of 571 weeks on the UK Singles chart in total, which moves him into 10th place on the all time list, replacing Diana Ross.
So well done to him, but unfortunately there is no video for "Signs" so we have to move on.
As expected the biggest loser under the new rules is Ed Sheeran, as he has now only has the maximum three tracks on the listing, all with big falls - "Shape Of You" drops 12 to 23, "Galway Girl" 9 to 34 & "Castle On The Hill" drops out of the Top 40 altogether - 14 places to 44. One consolation though, he has now overtaken Madonna to become the fifth most successful artist of all time.
At 24, though we have this week' highest new entry, a surprising collaboration between English drum & bass act Rudimental and X Factor winner 2012, James Arthur.
Giving Rudimental their first hit in 18 months, this is "Sun Comes Up".
One place lower, and finally reaching the Top 30 on its seventh week on the chart, its a climb of 9 places for the latest from Selena Gomez.
This is "Bad Liar". (Is that the "Psycho Killer" bassline??)
This week's highest climber moves up an impressive 24 places to give a Top 30 debut to 21 year old Finnish singer songwriter Alma(-Sofia Miettinen).
This is "Chasing Highs".
Back into the Top 40, up 10 places to 31, this is rapper Lil' Uzi Vert with the strangely titled "XO Tour Llif3".
Just behind it, up 17 places to 32, is the collaboration between two former X Factor finalists - poster boy Olly Murs who was runner up to Joe McElderry in 2009 and 2015 winner Louisa Johnson.
This is "Unpredictable".
Another long standing chart entry which finally reaches the Top 40 this week moves up 12 to Number 39. First charting nearly two months ago, it becomes the first ever Top 40 entry for Post Malone.
Featuring yet another guest appearance from Migos' Quavo, this is the aptly titled "Congratulations".
Just missing out on a debut Top 40 hit this week, up 11 places to 52, is Troye Sivan.
Guesting with Martin Garrix, this is "There For You".
Re-entering at 43 this week, is a track that originally peaked one place lower back in May.
Again from this weeks' Number 2 album, this is Calvin Harris featuring Future & Khalid with "Rollin".
Up 12 places to 47 this week is Jax Jones featuring Demi Lovato & Stefflon Don.
This is "Instruction".
Another chart debutant goes straight in at 48 this week.
This is Samantha Harvey with "Forgive And Forget".
Now, down at Number 55 this week is a track which dates back to 2004, and has entered the charts on a record 18 separate occassions.
Up 14 places this week, and in my opinion the best track released this century, this is the Killers with "Mr Brightside".
New at 56 this week is the second solo hit from Liam Gallagher.
This is "Chinatown".
And one place lower, up 17 places to 57 this week, is Swedish producer (another one!) Neiked with his second UK hit.
Featuring Mimi, this is "Call Me".
As usual, I finish with tracks from the US & UK Number 1 albums. In the UK, "Divide" by Ed Sheeran claims its 13th week at the top.
From the album, this is the single "Galway Girl".
In the US, DJ Khaled hits the top with his second consecutive Number One long player.
From the album, "Grateful", this is the current Top 10 hit, "Wild Thoughts" which features Rihanna & Bryson Tiller.
Here are Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber.
