With his collaboration with Ed Sheeran, "River", taking over the Number 1 spot this week, Eminem now has his 9th UK Number One - only seven artists in UK chart history have now had more.
Incredibly, all his previous eight chart-toppers have spent just a single week at Number One, so will be interesting to see if his latest one can buck the trend.
It is also his 8th "instant Number One", a figure bettered by just two acts in chart history - Westlife whose 14 Number Ones all debuted at the top, and Take That who had 10 instant Number Ones from their 12 chart-toppers.
Eminem had his first Number One back in 2000, when his fourth hit "The Real Slim Shady" hit the top in July. Then "Stan" hit the top in December 2000, "Without Me" in June 2002, "Lose Yourself" in December 2002, "Just Lose It" in November 2004, "Like Toy Soldiers" in February 2005, "Smack That" (with Akon) is the only one of his Number Ones not to debut at the top, hitting it in its second week on November 2006. Then there was a seven year gap to his eighth Number One, as "The Monster" (featuring Rihanna) took him back to the top in November 2013 and another four year gap to his current (and ninth Number One) "River".
Here is the details of the seven artists who have had more UK Number Ones than Eminem. (all dates are week ending dates)
