WEEK ENDING 13th JANUARY 2018

It's almost as if Christmas never happened, as 6 of last week's Top 10 disappear from the Top 75 this week.  There are 7 new entries and 37 re-entries on this weeks listing with no tracks falling in the chart.

In fact, the only non-mover is Number One for a fifth week as Ed Sheeran continues his chart dominance with "Perfect".

Here is the man himself, with the symphony version which features the voice of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.

Back up one place to Number 2 is Mr Sheeran again, this time as guest on the Eminem track "River", while into the Top 3 for the first time, up 3 places to 3, is Big Shaq with "Man's Not Hot".

Also moving back up the chart, up four places to 4, is Rita Ora with "Anywhere", while former Number One "Havana" from Camila Cabello & Young Thug moves back up 7 places to Number 5.

Up 12 to 6 is "I Miss You" from Clean Bandit featuring Julia Michaels, while up 16 places, to a new peak position is Marc Kinchen.

This is MK with "17".

Also hitting the Top 10 for the first time, up 22 places to Number 8, this is Ramz with "Barking".

Up 11 places to 9 is "Wolves" from Marshmello & Selena Gomez, while up 15 places to 10 is NF with "Let You Down".

As there are so many big climbers this week, I am just going to list them as I go on, apart from the ones that have reached a new peak.

24-11 (13 places) "Dimelo" - Rak-Su featuring Naughty Boy & Wyclef Jean
27-12 (15 places) "Rockstar" - Post Malone featuring 21 Savage
37-13 (24 places) "New Rules" - Dua Lipa
36-14 (22 places) "Naked" - James Arthur

Up 30 places to Number 15 goes the collaboration between Craig David & Bastille.

This is "I Know You".

33-16 (17 places) "Silence" - Marshmello featuring Khalid

Up 23 places to Number 17 this week, here is Dave featuring Mostack with "No Words".

52-18 (34 places) "Symphony" - Clean Bandit featuring Zara Larsson

Up 25 places to 19 this week, beating its previous peak of Number 30, here is Jason Derulo & French Montana with "Tip Toe".

35-20 (15 places) "Blinded By Your Grace Pt 2" - Stormzy featuring MNEK
47-21 (26 places) "Shape Of You" - Ed Sheeran

Moving up 24 places to Number 22, yet another collaboration.  This is Raye featuring Mr Eazi with "Decline".

Up 25 places to Number 23, here is NOT3S with "My Lover".

Up 26 places to 24 this week, here is "Breathe" from Jax Jones feauring Ina Wroldsen.

42-25 (17 places) "Beautiful Trauma" - Pink
58-26 (32 places) "Despacito (Remix) - Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber
43-27 (16 places) "Too Good At Goodbyes" - Sam Smith

Finally, at Number 28, is this week's highest new entry.  Taken from the soundtrack of "The Greatest Showman" starring Hugh Jackman, this is "This Is Me" with soloist Keala Settle.

Up 28 places to Number 29, here is J Hus with "Bouff Daddy".

The first of this week's joint highest climbers moves up 35 places to Number 30.

Back into the chart at 35 comes one of my favourite tracks from last year, a track which previously peaked at Number 39.

From Alaska, but now based in Oregon, here is rock band Portugal.The Man with "Feel It Still".

56-36 (20 places) "How Long" - Charlie Puth

Up 34 places to 37 this week, with the follow up to her recent Number One single, "Havana", here is Camila Cabello with "Never Be The Same".

54-38 (16 places) "What About Us" - Pink

The other joint highest climber moves up from 74 to 39 this week.

This is "Cola" from Camelphat & Elderbrook.

59-42 (17 places) "One Last Song" - Sam Smith
72-45 (27 places) "Dirty Sexy Money" - David Guetta featuring Afrojack, Charli XCX & French Montana

As usual I finish off with tracks from the US & UK Number 1 albums.  In the UK, Ed Sheeran's "Divide" becomes just the fifth artist to have an album spend 20 weeks at Number 1.
