Another chart achievement from Ed Sheeran this week as he replaces himself at Number 1 this week with "River", the track on which he appears with Eminem replacing "Perfect" at the top of the chart. He is now just the sixth artist to achieve this feat. (See separate post for the full list).
It also gives lead artists Eminem his 9th UK Number One, a total now bettered by just seven other artists (again see separate post for complete list).
Here is Eminem featuring Ed Sheeran with "River".
Up to Number 2 from last week's Number 4, is Ramz with his ode to his hometown, "Barking", while "Perfect" drops to 3 after 6 weeks at the top.
Surprisingly up another place after nearly three months on the chart is Clean Bandit & Julia Michaels with "I Miss You", moving up to a new peak of Number 4, while after debuting at Number 7 last week, "Finesse" from Bruno Mars & Cardi B moves up 2 places to 5.
Down three to 6 is "Anywhere" from Rita Ora, while up 22 places to Number 7 this week is Camila Cabello with the follow up to her recent Number One "Havana".
This is "Never Be The Same".
Finally into the Top 10 after 10 weeks on the chart, moving up 4 places to 8 this week, is Jason Derulo & French Montana with "Tip Toe". It is Derulo's 13th Top 10 hit in the UK and French Montana's fourth in just a year.
Down three places to 9 with "Let You Down", while static at Number 10 is Craig David & Bastille with "I Know You".
Up 24 places to 14, and the highest climber of the week, with the fifth Top 30 taken from her debut album, this is Dua Lipa with "IDGAF".
New at Number 26, with her first UK Top 30 entry, is the winner of the BBC Sound of 2018 award.
From Norway, here is Sigrid with "Strangers".
New at 34 is a collaboration from Jorja Smith & Stormzy.
This is "Let Me Down".
Last Monday, the shock news was announced that Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan had passed away at the tragically young age of 46. With three tracks entering the Top 75 this week, here is the highest of the three.
From the 1994 album "No Need To Argue", this is "Zombie" which re-enters at Number 45 this week. RIP Dolores.
As usual I finish off with tracks from the US & UK Number 1 albums. For the second week in a row, the same album takes the honours both sides of the Atlantic - the soundtrack to the movie "The Greatest Showman".
