RITA ORA EQUALS RECORD FOR MOST UK TOP TEN HITS BY A BRITISH FEMALE ARTIST

As has been widely reported elsewhere, singer Rita Ora notches up her 12th UK Top 10 single this week, as "For You (Fifty Shades Freed)", her  collaboration with Liam Payne, climbs to Number 8 this week on the Official chart.

It now puts here in a three way tie for most UK Top 10 hit singles by a British female singer - tying Shirley Bassey & Petula Clark - although exactly half of the 12 have been in collaboration with other artists, Bassey & Clark's 12 were all solo efforts. (Although born in the former Yugoslavia (present day Kosovo), the family relocated to the UK when Rita was just a year old).

Here is the complete list of Ms Ora's Top 10 hits, compared with the other two joint record holders.
