As expected, Drake is toppled from the Number 1 spot this week, so fails to make it ten in a row. So, after 7 weeks at Number 2, "These Days" by Rudimental, Jess Glynne & Macklemore takes over at the top of the chart. In doing so it becomes just the second record ever to hit Number 1 having spent 7 consecutive weeks at Number 2 - the other is "You Belong To Me" by Jo Stafford in 1952/53.
It also gives Jess Glynne a sixth UK Number One single, putting her one ahead of Cheryl as the British female singer with most Number 1 singles. It also marks a return to Number 1 after 5 years for both Rudimental & Macklemore.
Well done to all, here is "These Days".
Up three more places to Number 2, from his new Number 1 album, "Staying At Tamara's" is George Ezra with "Paradise", while static at Number 3 for a third week is Portugal. The Man with "Feel It Still.
Also static at 4 is "Friends" from Marshmello & Anne-Marie, while the joint highest climber of the week which climbs 11 places to Number 5 is Lil' Dicky and Chris Brown, giving Brown his first UK Top 10 hit in more than two years.
This is the vey funny "Freaky Friday".

As usual I finish off with tracks from the US & UK Number 1 albums. In the UK, we have a new Number 1 as George Ezra's "Staying At Tamara's" prevents "The Greatest Showman" from making it twelve weeks in a row.
From his second Number 1 album, th.is is George with the current Number 2 hit, "Paradise".
In the US, for the second week in a row, a rap album takes the honours as XXXTentacion's second album, "?" debuts at the top.
From the album, this is the single "Sad!".
