PERFECT BY ED SHEERAN HITS 100 TOTAL WEEKS ON UK SINGLES CHART

Congratulations go out to Ed Sheeran this week, as his track "Perfect" becomes just the third track in UK chart history to spend 100 weeks on the UK Top 75 Singles chart.  He joins an elite club of Frank Sinatra & Snow Patrol, who are the only two other artists to have achieved this, details below.

First chart run - 5th April 1969 to 17th January 1970 (42 weeks - peaked at Number 5)
Second chart run - 31st January 1970 (1 week - peaked at Number 49)
Third chart run - 28th February to 28th March 1970 (5 weeks - peaked at Number 30)
Fourth chart run - 11th April to 6th June 1970 (9 weeks - peaked at Number 33)
Fifth chart run - 27th June to 14th November 1970 (21 weeks - peaked at Number 28)
