THE 1975 CLAIM UNWANTED CHART RECORD

This week, the 1975 claim their 22nd UK hit single as "Tonight (I Wish I Was Your Boy)" enters at Number 56.  This now gives them the unwanted chart record of having had the most UK hit singles without ever reaching the Top 10, beating the previous record of 21 which they jointly held with Super Furry Animals.

Here is their complete chart record in order of peak position.

#14 If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know)
#15 The Sound
#19 Chocolate
#20 Love Me
#22 Give Yourself A Try
#26 TooTimeTooTimeTooTime
#30 The City
#33 Love It If We Made It
#34 Sex
#35 Me & You Together Song
#42 Ugh
#45 Girls
#46 It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)
#53 Medicine
#54 People
#54 Frail State Of Mind
#55 Somebody Else
#56 Tonight (I Wish I Was A Boy)
#57 Sincerity Is Scary
#67 I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes)
#68 Settle Down
#69 The Birthday Party

Hopefully, they can pass the mantle back to the Furrys soon, but, in the meantime, here are Tim and the boys with their biggest hit, "If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know)".
