In doing so makes it 112 total weeks on the UK Singles chart Top 75, overtaking Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" to move to second place on the all time list.  He is now just 12 weeks become current leader, Frank Sinatra's "My Way".

First charting at Number 4 on the 10th March 2017, the record breaking week where he held 9 of the Top 10 places on the chart, it would spend 17 weeks on the chart before dropping oot of the Top 75 on the 30th June 2017.

It re-entered the chart on the 29th September 2017 at Number 34, and 10 weeks later on the 8th December, it would hit Number 1 where it would stay until 12th January 2018, a six week run at the top, aided by different versions featuring Beyonce and Andrea Bocelli.

This time it would spend 62 weeks inside the Top 75, eventually departing on the 3oth November 2018.

It would then spend 5 weeks on the chart from 4th January 2019, peaking at Number 40; 2 weeks from the 15th February 2109, peaking at Number 65, 2 weeks from 29th March 2019, peaking at Number 75 and 1 week on the 26th April 2019, peaking at Number 71.

It would then return on the 31st January 2020, and has now spent 23 weeks on the chart, peaking at this week's high of Number 35 - giving a total of 112 weeks, beating Snow Patrol's 111 weeks for "Chasing Cars" in the process.

Only "My Way" now stands in the way on 124 weeks.

So congrats to Mr Sheeran, this is "Perfect (Symphony)" featuring Andrea Bocelli.
