DRAKE CLAIMS HIS THIRD ARTIST OF THE YEAR TITLE

Congratulations to Canadian rapper Drake who claims 2020's Artist of the Year title, based on most number of weeks spent on the UK Singles chart.  It is his third title, having previously won in 2016 & 2018.  It now makes 8 consecutive years that the chart champion has been a male solo artist - will.i.am in 2013, Ed Sheeran in 2014 & 2015, Drake in 2016, Sheeran again in 2017, Drake again in 2018 and Lewis Capaldi last year.
