KENDRICK LAMAR REACHES 100 WEEKS ON THE UK SINGLES CHART

Well done to rapper Kendrick Lamar (Duckworth) who this week clocks up 100 weeks on the UK Singles chart.

He first hit the chart back in October 2012, when his single "Swimming Pools (Drank)" spent a single week on the listing.  His first Top 40 hit came a year later as guest vocalist on Robin Thicke's Number 15 hit, "Give It 2 U".

He has now had 25 hit singles of which 13 have come this year as tracks from his latest album, "DAMN."  He has had 4 Top 10 hits, although three have been as featured vocalist, his only solo Top 10 hit being the current single, "Humble".

Here is Mr Duckworth with his debut hit, followed by his complete chart career.
