As "Despacito" holds off all comers to become the first track to stay at Number One for 6 weeks, and "I'm The One" remains at Number 2, Justin Bieber equals Ed Sheeran's record of 11 weeks at 1 & 2 in his chart career. He also now has a total of 21 weeks at Number One in the UK, a total bettered by just 12 acts in history (see separate post for full list).
So well done again to Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & the Beibmeister - here is "Despacito" (the original version minus Bieber's vocal).
As per above, static at Number 2, is DJ Khaled featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper & Lil' Wayne with "I'm The One", while another former Number 1 remains static at 3 - "Symphony" by Clean Bandit & Zara Larsson.
Up one place to 4 is Shawn Mendes with "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back", while down one to 4 is "Shape Of You" by Ed Sheeran.
Moving back up 4 places to 6 after the release of his debut album is Harry Styles' "Sign Of The Times", so five of the Top 6 are former Number Ones, while static at 7 are Jason, Nicki & Ty with "Swalla".
Also static at 8 is French Montana & Swae Lee with "Unforgettable", while into the Top 10 for the first time in his career, up three places to Number 9 this week, congratulations to British hip-hop artists J Hus.
This is "Did You See".
And, at Number 10, down four places after 11 weeks in the top 10, is Ed again with "Galway Girl". This week he breaks through the 700 week barrier, just seven weeks after reaching 600 weeks, just the sixth artist ever to amass this total.
This week's highest new entry goes straight in at Number 11, and marks a return to the Top 20 after more than 3 years away for Billy Ray's daughter, Miley Cyrus. "Malibu" is her first Top 20 solo hit since her Number One from late 2013, "Wrecking Ball", although she guested on will.i.am's "Feelin' Myself" which hit Number 2 early in 2014.
Here is Miley with "Malibu".
Up 8 places to Number 15, is English production trio Nathan Duvall, Gavin Koolmon & Luke McDermott AKA the Disciples, who have their first UK Top 20 hit in their own right. They previously hit Number 2 in August 2015 in collaboration with Calvin Harris on "How Deep Is Your Love".
Here are the guys with "On My Mind".
This week's highest climber moves up a massive 37 places this week after debuting at Number 58 last week. Maggie Lindemann is an 18 year old singer songwriter from Los Angeles and has gained a massive following after posting here songs on various social media sites.
Here she is with her debut UK hit - this is "Pretty Girl".
Back into the Top 40 this week after dropping out last week - up 7 places to 34 - this is Paramore with the excellent, "Hard Times".
Down we go now to number 46, with a climb of 28 places from last week. From his debut Number 1 album, here is Harry Styles with "Sweet Creature".
