This week on the UK Singles chart, Coldplay hit 471 total weeks, overtaking Kylie Minogue to become the 20th most successful act in chart history. They are also now the second most successful group of all time - just the Shadows are now ahead of them with 771 weeks.
Since their first hit "Shiver" hit number 35 in early 2000, they have accumulated 29 hits, of which 18 have reached the Top 10, with two - "Viva La Vida" in 2008 & "Paradise" in 2012 - going all the way to Number One.
