After Calvin Harris claimed his eighth UK Number One last week, this week we have an artist claiming her debut UK Number One, and I am so pleased because I just love her voice. Dua Lipa is a British singer songwriter with Albanian parents who first hit the chart in May last year when "Hotter Than Hell" reached the Top 20. Three Top 10 hits later, and she has her first Number One (despite, again, it not being the best selling (Pink) NOR the most streamed (Despacito)).
Anyway, rules are rules, and here is the new Number One, Dua Lipa with "New Rules".
So dropping to Number 2 after just a single week at the top is the aforementioned Calvin Harris (featuring Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams & Big Sean) with "Feels", while also down one to 3 is "Unforgettable" from French Montana featuring Swae Lee.
At 4, it's another one place drop for DJ Khaled, Rihanna & Bryson Tiller with "Wild Thoughts", while brand new at 5 is the 19th Top Ten Single, but her first in four years, for Pink.
This is "What About Us".
Out of the Top 5 for the first time in more than three months, "Despacito" drops two places to 6 this week, while dropping one place to 7 is Rudimental featuring James Arthur with "in Comes Up".
Into the Top 10 for the first time after a month on the chart, up 4 places to 8, here are Louis Tomlinson, Bebe Rexha & Digital Farm Animals with "Back To You".
Down one place to 9 is "Came Here For Love" from Sigala featuring Ella Eyre, while back up one place to 11 is Rita Ora with "Your Song".
This week's highest climber jumps us 31 places to Number 16. "More Than Friends", despite the title, is actually a cover of En Vogue's final UK hit single from 1997, "Don't Let Go (Love)".
So here is James Hype (featuring vocals by Kelli-Leigh) with his reworking of the track.
Moving back up eleven places to 27 this week, beating her debut peak of 20 from 5 weeks ago, this is Kesha with her comeback hit, "Praying".
New at 32 this week, its a welcome return to the chart for Swedish superstar DJ Tim Bergling (AKA Avicii).
With his first Top 40 entry in 2 years, and featuring the vocals of Sandro Cavazza, this is "Without You".
Up 11 places to 45 this week, again an artist who has been away from the chart for 2 years, is Macklemore (featuring the vocals of Skylar Grey).
Charting without his longtime collaborator Ryan Lewis for the first time, here he is with "Glorious".
New at 46 this week, is the new one from former Oasis front man Liam Gallagher.
This is "For What It's Worth".
As usual, I finish with tracks from the US & UK Number 1 albums. In the UK, Ed Sheeran's "Divide" spends it's 16th week at the top.
From the album, this is "Galway Girl".
In the US, rapper Kendrick Lamar reclaims the top spot to make it four weeks in total for his album "DAMN.", having spent three weeks at the top back in May.
From the album, here is the recent US Number 1 7 UK Number 6 hit, "Humble".
