WEEK ENDING 25th NOVEMBER 2017

Three weeks at the Number One spot for Camila Cabello & Young Thug now, although they are still being held off completing the chart double in the US by Post Malone/21 Savage.

This is "Havana".

Up three places to Number 2 this week, with her biggest hit in three years, is Rita Ora with "Anywhere", while dropping one place to 3 are the aforementioned Post Malone & 21 Savage with "rockstar".

Down one place to 4 is former Number One "Too Good At Goodbyes" from Sam Smith, while also dropping one place to 5 is "Silence" from Marshmello & Khalid.

Static at 6 for a third straight week is Ed Sheeran with "Perfect", while one place lower, and back into the Top 10 for the first time in three years comes Eminem with his 28th UK Top 10 hit (the same number as the Beatles).

Featuring Beyoncé, (who has been away from the Top 10 herself for 2 years), with her 19th Top 10 hit, this is "Walk On Water".

At the other end of the scale, claiming his first UK Top 10 single this week, up 3 places to Number 8, is YouTube celebrity, comedian Michael Daapah, in character as Big Shaq with "Man's Not Hot", while down 2 to 9 are Zayn & Sia with "Dusk Till Dawn".

Still propping up the Top 10 this week, static at Number 10 are Mabel & Kojo Funds with "Finders Keepers".

Just outside the Top 10, up ten places to Number 12, is Stormzy featuring MNEK.

This is "Blinded By Your Grace - Pt 2".

Making slow progress, but finally into the Top 2o this week, up nine places to Number 14, go Clean Bandit.

Featuring the vocal talents of Julia Michaels, this is "I Miss You".

Up another 11 places, and this week's joint highest climber, moving up to Number 27, celebrating his first UK Top 30 hit is Gazzy Garcia, a 17 year old US rapper and songwriter who performs under the name Lil' Pump.

T
his is "Gucci Gang".

The second new entry in this week's Top 30 is the latest cover to be used in the annual John Lewis Christmas ad.  "Golden Slumbers" is a track taken from the Beatles 1969 "Abbey Road" album, and the new version has been recorded by critics' favourite Elbow.

It is the band's first new Top 40 hit in 9 years, although that track, "One Day Like This" hit Number 4 in 2012 after being used in the London Olympic opening ceremony montage.

So here are Guy Garvey and the lads with their version of "Golden Slumbers".

Also new at 47 this week, is yet another collaboration featuring the talents of rapper French Montana.

This is Jason Derulo featuring French Montana with "Tip Toe".

After spending 17 weeks yo-yoing up and down between positions 65 & 74, rapper Travis Scott moves up 11 places to reach a new peak of Number 57, and is this week's joint highest climber with Lil' Pump.

This is "Butterfly Effect".

At Number 68 this week is a track which is on its 30th week in the Top 75.  "XO Tour Llif3" by US rapper Lil' Uzi Vert first charted at Number 70 way back at the end of April, but has never climbed higher than its September peak of Number 25.  It becomes teh first track in UK chart history to clock up as many as 30 CONSECUTIVE weeks in the Top 75 without reaching the Top 20.

An unwanted record maybe, but a record none the less.

This is "XO Tour Llif3".

As usual I finish off with tracks from the US & UK Number 1 albums.  In the UK, no surprise that Taylor Swift claims her third consecutive UK chart topper as her sixth long player, "Reputation" deposes Sam Smith this week.

From the album, here is the former Number One single, "Look What You Made Me Do".

In the US, Sam Smith repeats his UK success as his second album "The Thrill Of It All" takes the honours this week.

From the album, this is the single "Too Good At Goodbyes".
