WEEK ENDING 2nd DECEMBER 2017

Showing no sign of vacating top spot yet, Camila & Young Thug make it 4 weeks at Number One this week.  Camila Cabello becomes the first female lead artist to spend as many as four weeks at the top since Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" spent four weeks at the top in early 2015.

This is "Havana".

Spending a second week at Number 2 this week is Rita Ora "Anywhere", while moving back up 2 places to Number 3 is "Silence" from Marshmello & Khalid.

Moving up two more places to Number 4 this week is Ed Sheeran with "Perfect", which now matches the peak position it reached on its first chart run earlier in the year,  and back down one place to 5 is Sam Smith with "Too Good At Goodbyes".

This week's highest new entry comes in at Number 29 this week.  Katie Melua has recorded her version of Sting's 1993 hit, "Fields Of Gold", in aid of this year's Children In Need.

It is Ms Melua's first Top 40 hit since 2010's "The Flood", and her first Top 30 hit in 10 years.

This is Katie Melua with "Fields Of Gold".

Up 16 places to Number 31 this week is the latest collaboration featuring the vocal talents of Moroccan-born French Montana.

This is Jason Derulo & French Montana with "Tip Toe".

Re-entering the chart at Number 34 this week for its annual run, the 12th time it has re-entered the Top 75 since its chart debut in 1994, is the Mariah Carey Christmas classic, "All I Want For Christmas Is You".

Here's the video.

This week's highest climber moves up 23 places, and gives Hackney rapper NOT3S his first UK Top 40 hit.

At Number 38 this week, this is "My Lover".

New at 46 this week is Luis Fonsi's follow up to the massive Number One "Despacito".

Featuring vocals Demi Lovato, this is "Echame La Culpa".

As usual I finish off with tracks from the US & UK Number 1 albums.  In the UK, congratulations go to Paloma Faith as her fourth studio album. "The Architect", becomes her first ever UK chart topper.

From the album here is the current single, "Crybaby".

In the US, as she did in the UK, Taylor Swift replaces Sam Smith at Number One, as "Reputation" becomes her fifth consecutive chart topper.

From the album, here is the former Number One single, "Look What You Made Me Do".
