TRACKS WHICH SPENT 6 OR MORE WEEKS AT NUMBER 2 IN THE UK BUT FAILED TO REACH NUMBER 1

With "Last Christmas" by Wham! hitting Number 2 last week, but again falling agonisingly short of the Number 1 slot, it becomes one of just 12 tracks that have spent 6 or more weeks at Number 2 WITHOUT making it to Number 1.
