JESS GLYNNE BECOMES FIRST BRITISH FEMALE SOLO ARTIST TO HAVE 6 NUMBER ONE SINGLES

With "These Days" finally hitting Number 1 this week, it gives Jess Glynne a record breaking sixth UK Number 1 single, putting her out on her own, one ahead of Cheryl (Cole).

Her first two Number Ones came within six weeks of one another, both as featured artist.  On 1st February 2014, "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit debuted at Number 1 and would stay there for 4 weeks, and then on 15th March 2014, "My Love" by Route 94 debuted at the top for 1 week.

On 4th April 2015, she hit Number 1 for a third time, this time on her own merit, as "Hold My Hand" spent 3 weeks at the top.  Three months later she had a fourth chart topper as guest vocalist on the Tinie Tempah track, "Not Letting Go".

On the 29th August 2015, she had her fifth Number 1, and her second as a solo artist, when Don't Be So Hard On Yourself" debuted at the top.

Then finally, after seven weeks stuck at Number 2, the Rudimental track "These Days" which features Macklemore as well as Jess Glynne takes over the top spot this week, giving Jess Glynne her record breaking sixth Number 1.

So well done to Jess, and here she is with her first Number 1 performance on Clean Bandit's "Rather Be".
